Bazaa is a Importer and Retailer of Quality imported goods in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. We specialise in Recycled Teak Furniture made by the Karan Hilltribes in Thailand, in Laos, and Cambodia.

All Furniture is handmade so while products can be order not two items are identical and customers must expect their individual piece to be a little different from the catalogue pictures.

Bazaa is proud to present these uniquely handcrafted products which Thai craftsman make from raw materials sourced predominately from Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

These raw materials are very old Teak and native indigenous hardwood from old bullock carts and Wagon wheels or any bits that will make up the uniqueness of the furniture.

Teak is a hardwood therefore the furniture is made to be very hardwearing and strong.

The raw materials are estimated to be at least 80 years old, giving the furniture history an age-old character.
